Welcome to Elizabeth & Co. Design specializing in high-end
residential interior design from New York City to Los Angeles.
Elizabeth
Orenstein combines almost a decade of interior design expertise
with a fresh vitality and an exuberant vision. Founder and
President of ELIZABETH & CO. DESIGN, Elizabeth creates
beautiful yet functional living spaces by carefully listening
to her clients' needs and responding to them. Drawing upon
her extensive background and interests in antiques, fine art,
and textiles, Elizabeth's designs have enriched the homes
of clients throughout the United States. Elizabeth is one
of fifteen designers participating in the
"Decoration
& Design Building's" (D&D Building)
current renovation of its public areas. Her work has been
featured in
The Hampton Designer Showhouse at Villa Maria
in Water Mill, New York
as well as
House Beautiful.
Elizabeth leads the project management team which generally
consists of the designer, the architect, and contractors.
She supervises the interior design projects, from initiation
to completion, making the whole process seamless for clients.

Elizabeth,
a Professional Member of the
American Society of Interior
Designers (ASID), graduated from
The University
of Michigan, School of Art, with a Bachelor of Fine
Arts (BFA - Cum Laude). Attended
Sotheby's
prestigious graduate level American Arts Program. Her knowledge
of fine and decorative arts, with special focus on European
and Asian design principles, has significantly influenced
her work. Her extensive training gives her interiors historical
depths as well as an eclectic and sumptuous flair.
In addition to her formal education, Elizabeth is the second
generation in a family of designers. Elizabeth honed her skills
as a Design Assistant at her mother's interior design firm,
Barbara Orenstein Interiors and as a Project Manager
for
Charlotte Moss & Co. Her ability to interact
with clients and understand their ideas allows Elizabeth to
transform their spaces into warm and inviting homes.
